Project manager and technical lead on a 29-student project: a client-server peer-to-peer music sharing application, in Java. Delivered early, 20/20, commendation with a letter of recommendation.
Project manager • Coordination between the 4 sub-teams and the client • Defining and adjusting the schedule • Allocating resources against need • Coordinating client presentations Technical lead • Validating every diagram: use case, sequence, class... • Designing the network and client-server architecture • Defining the custom network protocols The technical side Client and server both written in Java with JavaFX, built with Maven around a shared onzzer-common library, enough to guarantee that client and server speak exactly the same protocol. The result Delivered to the client ahead of schedule. Graded 20/20, with commendation and a letter of recommendation. At 29 people the difficulty is no longer the code: it's getting 4 sub-teams to converge on one coherent architecture.
