Kadrella ()
All-in-one SaaS for independent private tutors: students, lessons, invoices and payments in one place. Built end to end, it runs my own tutoring business today: 1,500 lessons scheduled, 700 invoices generated, €100k in payments tracked.
The problem: a private tutor spends more time on admin than teaching: chasing payments, invoicing, matching bank transfers, copying slots around. Kadrella automates all of it, for the solo tutor rather than the school. What it does • Unified inbox: WhatsApp, Discord and email in one place • Lessons and recurring slots, synced with Google Calendar • Automatic bank reconciliation between transfers and invoices • Automatic reminders for unpaid invoices and unconfirmed lessons • Superprof import for new students • Tax receipts for the French 50% tax credit The stack Modular NestJS backend on PostgreSQL, strong typing end to end, asynchronous workflows. Containerised services with Docker, served behind Nginx. AI integration (Ollama + MCP) to drive lesson and invoice management in natural language. Running it • Full observability: Grafana, Loki, PostHog • CI/CD via GitHub Actions, deployments in under 6 minutes • Security: JWT, granular permissions, MCP OAuth, firewalls, encryption at rest and in transit • Automated test suites, idempotent and parallel, for reproducible results 100+ students and 200+ lessons a month run through it.
